Default those with widebands inside please

Im ready to hook up my LM1 wideband and XD-16 guage in my 01 Z06.

My only question is where did you run the 02 sensor wire into the car at?

my Trans-Am had plugs under the rear seat buckets that were perfect for this, but the Vette doesnt. I dont really like the idea of drilling a hole in the floor of the car either. I would like to avoid that if possible. is there somewhere i can bring the wire inside? ( keep in mind the hole must be atleast a 1/2 inch in diameter to fit the plug end of hte cable thru)

thanks for the info

I ran mine (LC-1) through the gromet under the battery.

I used the gromet next to the big one behind the battery. A red power wire runs through it. I removed the gromet and bought a new one at the parts store and ran all my wires though it. The hole is large enough to accomodate many wires plus the power wire it was intended for. When looking from front to back it would be located to the left, somewhat hidden by the plenum.

I ran mine on the drivers side.
Drilled a small hole in the firewall next to where the hood cable goes through and installed a gromet.

Ran mine into the torque tube tunnel above the tunnel stiffening plate, in through the shifter hole and cut a small notch in the shifter isolator pad for the wire to run through. I used some mastic along the edge of the shifter hole to protect the wire from the sharp, metal edge.

I helped a buddy install his LC1 and we loosened a few screws in the tunnel plate and slid the cable in one of the plate's reliefs on the driver's side and ran it into his shifter access hole as well.

I drilled a hole right around where your right knee would be and put in a grommet and ran through that. I mounted the LC-1 below and in front of the shifter hole. It is zip tied to the fuel/brake lines. Had I of thought this through I a little more I would of mounted it in a more accessible area just in case I ever need to unplug it for any reason.
