L/g Tubes

I'M adding texas-speed new headers, but i have a x-pipe on now. will this x-pipe have to come off or can it stay. the rest of the system is stock.

If you are purchasing the Texas Speed kit with the connection pipes, then the x-pipe can stay. The connection pipes from Texas Speed are basically a step-down tube that eliminates the cats and reduces the pipe diameter from the 3" at the collector to the 2.5" of the stock pipe. Also remember that with these headers there is no accomodation for the stock A.I.R setup so you'll have to ditch the air pump and hoses and get it tuned to avoid any possible codes being thrown. Let us know how the install goes and what improvements you experience as many of us are hungry for more real-world results with this setup.....
