you can do it yourself... but be prepared to get the bottom of the rear fascia 28-30 inches off the ground.
That usually means putting the front wheels on ramps or a 4x4 and putting a sandwhich of a 4x4 bwtween 2- 2x6's ( 8 extra inches of lift) as a pad on top of your jack to get enough height....
It is high and not for the inexperieinced or faint of heart !!!
I like to stay behind the wheel...above the wheels...but never under the wheels. I guess that would mean I'm "faint of heart".
I'm thinking I'll have it installed.
Tuffy Muffler removed my stock system including the "H" pipe and installed my new Magnaflow system including the "X" pipe for $80.00. They were very accomodating and careful not to scratch anything. Very pleased and well worth it.
Is there a "good best" way I can lift just the backend the few inches needed to replace my cat-back exhaust?
I don't have a lift and I want to do it myself!
it is really high. I did one side and needed to go higher on the other side. At that point I thought this is stupid. Lowered it back on the ramps and cut the other side...
