Hey guys,I have recently had Cartek install a 3x cam package in my 2002 vert and was wondering who might have the same package install to ask a few questions about the stumbling upon start up after the vehicle gets up to temp? I love the cam,and Cartek guys were a pleasure to get to know, and veery helpful, but just curious if anyone else experiences this minor, but yet noticable problem, any advice will do
heyyyyyyy buddy, how have u been! so ur telling me that its a minor problem ill have to live with! oh well, its still worth it
I'm fine, bro. Sounds like you want even more than before to get a cage...you'll need it if you come to E'town again running with that 3X cam, and knowing how well you drive.
Yeah...cam surge can, to some extent can be minimized with added standard tuning, but it will show up now and then. You kind of learn to deal with it when coming to a stop by keeping you foot on the pedal and modulating the gas. I am told that with speed density tuning one can pretty much eliminate it, but I don't think Julio, et al have bit the bullet yet to bring that tuning in house.
