Air bag shut off switch? where?
I know there is a keyed shutoff for the passengers air bag in the glove box. However, do some C-5's have another switch to shut off BOTH airbags?
Searching for an airbag control module for a damaged 01 that I'm repairing. A seller says he has one for the " models with the shut-off switch on the center console"
I have never seen that. Is there such a thing?

you can buy a kit from the general that will turn off both.
2 different kits one for each side.

They did not come that way from the factory. I also have never seen the kit for the driver's side. You can not use the passanger kit on the drivers side. The yellow connections are different, so you do not shut the wrong air bag off.

A little hard to find but they do make one. Ill have to look around i have a part number somewhere.
It took some calls with GM tech to get the part number for the passenger and they also gave the parts dept the number for the drivers side.
It actually cheaper to buy the whole delete kit than buy a new seat belt.
The kit comes with a new seat belt.
