Just changed transmission fluid, quick question...
I changed out my transmission fluid today and noticed that the descriptions of the fill and drain plugs don't really match the DIYs I've read. My main concern is that I didn't notice a temp sensor. My drain and fill plugs are identical cylinders with a square indent in the ends so they can be removed with a 3/8 ratchet. Isn't the temp sensor supposed to be integrated with fill plug? I wish I had taken pictures. Thanks guys!

My 97 c5 does not have the temp sensor but when I bought a new trans out of a 2003 z06 it had the sensor. Not sure what models have and dont have the sensor but thats why your fill plug does not. Some one else know when or maybe it is just the z06's that have the temp sensor?
