Hello Guys
I know many of you are Super Techs when it comes to the 1999 c5.
Heres the problem: My ac is blowing hot air through both pass and driver side vents and was working a week ago. Ac compressor does cycle and I have about 100psi on the low side of the compressor. I do not know what the high side is at due to unavailable adapter for the guages. There has been some coolant geen fluid under the car with a oil like film over it when it is parked for a while. Also should I just take it to any ac repair shop or a chevy dealer here in San Antonio.
thankyou
Dave
Have you tried adding some refrigerent. I believe it uses R-134A. I had to do this to my truck at the beginning of the summer and it has worked fine since.
Make sure your r-134a is LOW, before adding. You don't want to overfill and damage the system. (compare psi to charts in factory manual) 100 psi low side, off hand, sounds close to normal.
My 01 started blowing warm air, suddenly. It was a bad left side ac door actuator.
