Default power seat problem

here we go again!! been driving vette up here in upstate new york a couple weeks and the driver seat has been nice and quite until this morning, seat again started to move down and forward towards steering wheel, but not pinning me against steering wheel as it did last year.did take seat out and clean contacts late last summer seemed to help.. any body out there with same problem or a fix..did report to general motors last year but they just wanted me to pay a dealer a diag. fee.

My Drivers seat acts up also. Sometimes when I remove key it goes way back and reclines. Once in a while it does it with remote. I checked DIC and it said SEAT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT was in H codes. I am in hope there is a part to replace. For now I just reset my memory 1 and it works for a couple of weeks. I thought it was remote at first, I took it apart and cleaned and replaced battery. Corvette has new battery and is a 1999 w/passive remote. I will do some checking around for some answers.

I think the H code stands for history code. I've experienced sport seat problems on my 99 for some time and have even replaced the seats. You may be experiencing some sort of short in one of the seats.
Good Luck
