The perfect storm is forming in the Tampa area and is headed for Bradenton Motor Speedway this saturday May 6. I will be going with a total of a least 5 vettes in our group. I will be driving my 99 6spd coupe, my wife will be in her 05 auto Z51, and we will be joined with our friend in his 02 Z06 and then the BIG GUNS will also join in as two other friends will bring their 06 Z06's into the mix.
I will most likely be the slowest car in the group so I need help. My biggest concern right now is the launch. I recently had 4.10's put in and I need advice on launching this thing without too much wheel spin.
My only real mods are the 4.10 and vararam.
my 99 6 spd frc...i launched about 2700-3000 on goodyear eagle's..got a 2.01 60 ft..now with ur 4.10's u might have a little bit more tire spin..i would say to launch about that and go from there!..good luck
mine are eagle f1 gs's...just went out and looked...if i had gears..i could help u a lot more...but im just a little stock guy...hope someone with better advice chimes in...bump!
Since the RevExtreme Corvette Challenge will be running there Saturday, i'm sure there will be no shortage of Vette owners willing to help you out. http://www.flacorvettechallenge.com/ Good group there. Bob
