Brake Pedal Vibration
my buddy (not a forum member) has been complaining about a brake pedal vibration that started recently on his '03 ZO6...about 5k miles on the odo. i drove it yesterday....the only way i could describe it is like grit on the rotors...very slight....feel it thru the pedal when applying brakes...at slow low-speed stops...not every stop either. definitely not warped rotor feel. any ideas??

A couple of possibilities- the semi metallic pads may have a larger than normal chunk of metal flake in it that is now exposed from normal pad wear. The rotors may have some unevenness, small unnoticeable grooves or pits in them(could be on the inner sides), or you both are sharing the same crack pipe 
The ultimate solution may be to replace the pads/turn or replace rotors. Good luck
