Some overheating
Just did a few modifications to a 2000 C5, heads, cam, smaller pulleys, bigger rad, diff exhaust, headers, new thermostat, belts, etc. Started up and runs good, tried getting the water in through the reserve tank, slow process, did not seem to take enough at one time. Did several runs letting it warm up and when it stated to hit the hot mark, shut off and filled the reservoir, and let it pull it in. Still seems to be running a little warm, after doing this several times. Is it possible to have an air trap.
Just what is the proper way of filling them up after a redo like this.?
Thanks...................Gunny
