knock sesnors and performance
I ran viperdays this weekend and am getting a lot of codes. I looked them up but don't really know what they mean. I know the coil codes mean they should be replaced.
how do the front and rear knock sensors affect performance? what about cam sensor (p0342)?
also seeing p1516 and p1571, throttle body issues, and c1278 (tcs temporarily inhibited by pcm--is that where I turned off traction control?).
car is running very rough. how much is this going to cost???

I don't know about the other codes, but I can tell you the bad knock sensors can make a big difference in performance. I heared that they get corroded and you can clean them with contact cleaner. I tried that first but found mine were just plain bad. They are easy to replace, I don't remember for sure how much they were. I bought the parts from a local dealership for what seemed to be a fair price.
