Default Brake Line Length

Just received new Goodrich stainless brakelines and will install them on my 02 Coupe tomorrow.

Due to jacking constraints at home I can only do front or rear at the same time (can't get whole car off ground at once).

I have a question though. Two of the lines are longer by a few inches
and I can't experiment without ruining the copper seal washers.

Can someone who is well versed in the procedure please tell me which are the longer lines for - Front or Rear?

Thanks.

I just did a set about two weeks ago and I can't remember for sure but I'm 95% sure the longer one are for the rear. The factory rear hose is almost too short from the factory. I would start with the front and see if the short ones fits OK, I think there is plenty of room up front. You can bolt them up without the copper washer to see how they fit, just don't tighten down on them without the washers, only snug them up a little to test the fit.

Thanks for the reply. From what I remember last time I had the rear tires off the stock lines were pretty short.

If the fronts are too long they will rub when making turns.

Thanks again.

Installed the SS Brakelines today, all went well. The Longer lines do go in the rear.

Thanks again for the info.
