I have a 99 coupe and some of you may know that you need to change out the air tube that runs behind the intake manifold to a longer one that matches up on the new headers on the passenger side. Well I can not get to the bolt on the back of the driver side head that holds the clip with the air tube. Any suggestions. I live in Albany, NY if anyone wants to come show me Ive been fighting with this thing for a while now.
You have 2 choices , 1 bite the bullet and take the few bolts out of the intake and move it forward (not a big deal ) or 2 cut the pipe at the curve near the back, and put a piece of hose on it (even less of a big deal)

Ive already taken the intake off. I cant get that bolt holding the bracket on.
I already put the intake back on. I am going to try and extend the current air pipe. Any suggestions? Im thinking of cutting it and addind a piece of rubber hose that will allow it to meet up with the flange on my new manifold. The only question I have is since the air line is metal and the extension is rubber will there be any problems?

You will not have any problems, get 1/2 i.d. heater hose and try and get it as far on as you can and either clamp or use hd zip ties. Pull the black braided cover over it and you will never know the difference.
An added benefit to this little mod is that the next time you go to change the plugs you can flex the line up and away to get to the back plugs
Again zip ties are your friend and keep them away from every thing you can and dont forget the starter wires too route the o2's in stock local(heat shield tabs and frame tabs) on the rear o2's , rotate the 2 pipes to get a bit of clearance from the tunnel plate
If you did not install the rest of the system yet ,try and start the car with the headers open for a few sec , to blow anything out . then with the cats on again to blow out the cats , you will see some dust from the cats for a sec, and you love the sound
