New guy question...
OK...I have never changed my own oil, until now. Now that I have a Vette, I care.
So, any tips? Should I get some ramps? A Jack? And what kind of oil should I buy? ('04 A4) I'm clueless, thanks.

A search will tell all. Basically I use front ramps, rear jack. Back must be a few inches higher than front to drain all the oil. Mobil 1 5W-30. 6 1/2 quarts. High quality filter. I prefer K & N or Mobil 1. K & N does have a nut on the end so it's easy to remove with a socket.

I did search, but I couldn't find all my answers. Thanks for helping out!
As for the type of oil, should I be looking for synthetic oil?
