I installed a procharger supercharger over the weekend on my 02 and during the install disconnected the the plug to the outside temperature sensor that gives the reading of the outside temperature on the dash.
I looked everwhere and can't find where it plugs in. So it always reads 69 degrees.
In the photo below look at the bottom front of the car just in front of the horns and the vertical brace, it is the small blue item you see about 2 inches back from the front and stuck in the right side of the radiator air scoop. Just behind the hole missing the metal tab. You can see it sticking through the radiator scoop if you look up into the radiator scoop from under the front of the car.

The Procharger install was tuff fought me almost all the way. I had originally ordered the HO kit which uses the original radiator mounting, but after a month of waiting for the kit they sent me the Stage 2 kit for the same price (larger tubing), bigger intercoolers). So I figured wow this is great. A whole lot more work on the install, I had to reshape cooling lines, AC lines, the bigger tubing and IC were really tight. The radiator mounting change really added a lot of time. I figure it took me about 30 + hours to do.
The performance is excellent! So now I would say it was worth it.

Way to go Tony. I am planning to go the supercharger route, but I’m going with the A&A Corvette Performance unit. I believe it is an easier install. Will report back when I pull the trigger.
