Default Evaporator Leaking Into Car Help!

My 2000 just starting leaking from somewhere under the passengar side where the evaporator is. My 97 did the same exact thing. This car has only 29k on it. I was told there is a drain plug? Or something that can be poked into the evaporator to get it to stop? Funny thing is both cars leak out more and make a squeeling noise from the blower motor when I take a left hand turn only. My carpet is wet and when my 97 did this it shorted out my BCM which caused nightmares. I bought a replacement evaporator for my 97 adn it was fixed. Then I as told on the forum I could have freed up the drainplug on the evaporator to get this to stop.
My 2000 just started doing this 2 days ago. How do I get it unclogged if that is what is a common problem? Thanks so far no one else has had this problem here and so far both my c5s have done it...29k happeing is a disgrace

a friend of mine just had the same thing happen to his 2000. took it over to the local vette place here and they put it up on the lift poked a screwdriver into the drain line and a half gallon of water came out. all is good now. btw same thing, when he came around the corner water would spill out and you could hear it. good luck.

Your A/C condensate drain is clogged up. It's located on the firewall behind the right cylinder head.

thank u so much for this info, ill check it when i get back in town. You guys saved me some $$. By the way just wanted to make sure which side u mean by right side, from the rear or front...does this mean the firewall on the drivers side? Thanks...by the way someone else told me I had to go under the passengar side inside the car and poke it through there, kind of where the bcm is located. Just wanted to clarify that it is actually inside the engine compartment on the drivers side? Thanks for a response!

I use a very long plastic zip tie to clean them. It is stiff enough to unplug it and flexible enough to go around the corners
