Default Twin Flow Intake?

I have seen this intake on a few websites but never on here.
I did a search and found a thread where it was mentioned but nothing in detail.
Is it as good as some of the others?
Anyone have any numbers for it?

I bought the twin-cone unit mainly for looks. It compliments my AE really well.

Studies show very little gain across the types and brands. One test even showed no filter dyno-ed even lower....gofigure that ?

Get the one YOU like and don't look back !

This set-up will give you gains over the stock box, aprox 12-16hp.
There are other cold air systems that make more power but are harder to install, although the Blackwing & K&N systems also easy to install.

To take full advantage you need to replace the stock nose inserts with cold air screens. Please note, it is not recommended that you remove the screen in your MAF with this system due to turbulence.

Bottom line, if you`re on a budget and or like the looks and don`t have to have the latest and greatest system, then it`s a good bang for the buck and looks good.

Hope this helps, Rick

Looks cool, but it's twice as many filters to service. I know it's not a big deal to pull them off, clean, and re-oil them, but hey, that's time spent that you could be out driving!

You`re probably talking about an extra 10min...... not an issue!

I've got that intake and it seems to be about as good as my cousins Blackwing.

I installed a twin tube as well, mostly for appearence when I installed the cold air grills. I think it advertised 14 HP gain. It was hard to tell how much it helped as I also installed the Corsa Pace Car cat-back at the same time.

I had a twin air intake on my H/C set up when it was first dyno tuned and had to get another dyno tune due to non-mod issues. I had swapped the twin air for a Blackwing and only put down 1 more RWHP than before, so to me there is no difference at all between these 2 products.
