I noticed that the PRE-CAT O2 sensor cable runs right next to the header tubes. I have some 1100 cable sheathing, but I was thinking of trying to run the cable on top, instead of down at the orginal location. Has anyone drilled some holes in there tunnel plate and ran the cables on top? Anyone with any pics?
Aslo what about the Post-Cat O2's? Same with it? OR should I just delete those O2's out of the system? In Washington, we don't have to do a sniffer pass for DEQ. Just a scan. From what I have read, it can be turned off so it doesn't give a code.....right?
there was a post about 2 months ago where someone drilled their tunnel plate and ran the wires in order to clear the O2 sensors. It looked good, and after having not done that to mine, I'd recommend doing it 1. for the heat issue, and 2. so the O2 sensors don't rub on the shield - do a search in the tech section and you should find something.
Well, I have LGs, not Dynotechs. However, I had an Aluminum tunnel plate installed with the headers, and LG drilled two holes in it, and routed both sets of 02 wires above the plate, so obviously, it can be done, and one of the best vette tuners does it.

I tried to do a search but maybe I was putting in the wrong description. Sometimes the search engine here isn't all that smart. I'll give it another try.
