Default question on 3" Kooks X pipe...

I am ordering a Kooks 3" x 3" X pipe to go with the long tube headers I recently bought. Will the X pipe mate up to my catback without any issues? I have the Borla Stingers, I assume they are 2 1/2"?

Are you doing the swap yourself or having the local muffler shop doing it? If doing it yourself, then you'll need to get a 3" to 2 1/2" reducer. The muffler shop would of course do it for you.

Or you could do what I did and order the Kooks X pipe #6106. It is 3" at the collector, then 2 1/2" at the muffler.

Thanks. I found a killer deal on the 3x3 so that's why I'm going with it.
