Has anybody come up with a way to keep the backside of the warhead filter from just laying on the rad. shroud? My blackwing had two holes similar to the stock air box to hold the filter in place off the shroud. Does it matter if the filter is laying on the shroud? With the shroud in place I don't see alot of ways for air to get to the back of the filter.
some cut a hole in the shroud and install a screen where the filter sits. 1 large hole, several slits, options are up to u.
varied opinions though on this..but if u goof. no biggy shrouds are cheap.
but it does allow "fresh" ait to the filter instead of sucking in engine compartment (heated) air. do a search, fresh air mod or something like that..
peace

I cut a hole in the shroud under my filter and it works great.
