Rattle/clunk on right side
When the front or rear suspension on my '99 coupe hits a small bump, something makes a clunk noise, maybe like a shock or sway bar or something is loose. When I put the car up on jack stands the tires and suspension drop down (duh) and I am unable to simulate the rapid cycling on the suspension.
Anyone else have a similar problem?
Also, I don't think the F45 shocks are bad, but if they DO fail, is there an alternative to $500 shocks on each corner of this bad boy?

I have almost the exact same situation and I originally thought it may be the sway bar end links. When i was cleaning the car yesterday, I may have stumbled on the cause. If I tapped on the exhaust tips on the passenger side, there was a definite metal to metal sound of the exhaust hitting somewhere in the rear. I haven't had it on a lift yet, but it definitely could be the source of the clunk. It may pay to check out your exhaust clearances.
