Just had car in to replace steering wheel sensor, and had mechanic change oil and filter. He topped off all the fluid levels. Now low washer warning is coming on even though washer fluid is full. After you fill the washer fluid are you susposed to reset something? Or am I looking at replacing another sensor? What gives?
At the end of WW tank facing firewall is the low fluid sensor, which has a 2 piece joint in the tank and when fluid is low one of the pieces pivots downward.
First stick you hand down there and see if wiring connector is unplugged and if it is look at the outside of sensor, one side it flat and should be rotated so that it matches the flat of the rubber grommet in WW tank so that it is at the proper rotation for if its not then the one piece of sensor cannot drop downward or would cause it to stay in a open position
Earier this week I posted a Question about the low washer fluid warning. boosted_Z06 gave me some great advice and it seems to work. That what makes this forum great. People helping other people.
