My trunk lid keeps releasing by itself when the car is sitting. Even after it is released I will hear the motor releasing the latch when I am working in my garage. Any advise?

I'm a newbie to C5s, but maybe this can be of use until more knowledgeble folks chime in.
Obviously, something is constantly sending power to the trunk release solenoid; the problem is isolating the specific component in the chain from the solenoid back to through the BCM and the dash switch (IIRC, the BCM is in the release circuit). I'm assuming, of course, that you don't have something heavy resting on one of your key fobs )
I don't have my copy of the schematic from the service manual at hand, but the first places I'd look is the wiring leading to/from the trunk release switch in the dash for damage, for proper operation of the dash switch itself, and then check the condition of the wires going to the BCM.
My car occassionally locks itself when I am in the garage...
I have traced it to the fob in my pocket and my movements that cause the lock button to get inadvertently pressed when I bend and move around....
Before you start hours of sleuthing,
leave the fob somehwhere in the house out of range or take the battery out of it and see if you still have a problem...
