Glass top peeling - Options
Realizing that I could buy a new or refurb, what are my other options to repair this. Some say you can polish the flakes off, anyone do this? How about a local quto glass place, could they help me?

Most people paint them to match the body color, or get a good used one for around $400. I have never seen a repaired glass top, just a core trade in, etc.

You can refurbish it yourself. Sand off the old tint, the faking off part with a very fine wet sand paper. 1000 grit or so. Then use a very fine compounding polish that you can get at an auto parts store and polish it until you get the results you like. Mine looks 100 % better after I did these steps.
