Wheel offset question
I have searched and see offsets for stock wheels at 56-7x mm but when I talk to wheels companies I get numbers like 30-38 mm but these wheels are bigger and will have more brake clearnace at 19+in so what am I missing here?

If a stock C5 wheel has about 56 mm offset, you have to get new wheels with similiar offsets, possibly a little more or less, depending on the width of the wheel. The back side of the spokes must also be cut properly to clear the calipers. A wheel with a 38 mm offset isn't the proper fit for a C5, no matter what diameter it is. A 38 mm offset wheel sounds more like a wheel for a solid rear axle car.
