Today I saw a Optima red top battery at cosco for $99.00. Is this a good price and do I even need a deap cycle since I drive it every other day? :seeya
I don't think you can beat the $99 Costco price. Our local Interstate Store wants ~$170 for a yellow...probably a little less for the red. I would get the red, unless your car is undriven for long periods.
Thanks guys, for that price I'll but two (one for suburban and one for the vette). I don't think they have a website for online purchases but check out your local cosco. These batteries just showed up in the last month!!
Get the red top if you do not let it set for more than a month. The red top is used for automobiles and has 930 + cracking amps. You can't go wrong with either but the red is what is recommended!!!
Johnson Controls maker of Costco Kirkland batteries. Recently bought out manufacture of Red top batteries. I hope Johnson controls does not try and cheapen the Red top line of batteries.
i was at a costco in huntsville alabama last week and didnt notice any optima batteries, well i wasnt looking for one either.i always roam the car care area.i ordered a redtop yesterday from L.A.P.D. for $129.00,my delco has died on me 2 times in less than a year.the first time was within the first 2 weeks of ownership.cant even listen to the radio while washing my car the battery will go dead.G.M. should reimberse all vette owners for the delco batteries that are manufactured in mexico.DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS ANYWAY TO RECOUP SOME OF THE MONEY FOR A NEW BATTERY. :mad
