WOW, I didn't realize it was that low unlocked.
So one of the pro torque 2400-2600 TCs might help out after all in a DD.
The 2200 and 2400 series converters are a nice mod for the daily drivers because they add a big boost in performance off the line yet aren't too "slippery" requiring a large amount of gas to get going. They also flash real nice into the powerband when rolling....
The reason I'm looking for a smaller one is because it's for my wife's car. She's wanting a 3.42 gear and small TC that won't hurt her milage too bad, while letting her "light-em-up" for the guys that think she's got a "girly" car that's all show and no go.
She does drive it every day, and gas is still hovering around $3.00

I had the Pro Torque 2400 & 3.42 gears in my car. This combo felt exactly like stock at part throttle driving around town. It gave a good increase of grunt from off of the line. However it does give you much of an increase in performance from a roll.

I put in a yank 2600 with 3.42s and have to agree that there's no noticeable difference during normal driving. Where you notice it is WOT.
