Default Turn signal install

I've got to install turn signals in my front bumper fascia on my '01 coupe. - wrecked front end, so they were missing when I bought the car

I have new ones (clear turn signal w/ the grey plastic piece, and a spring)

I've also got the shop manuals, But I don't recall seeing anything about what the spring is for or how the turn signals mount exactly -

Anyone able to give me some info on the purpose of the spring and how to mount / attach the turn signals in front?

Thanks much

Should be two screw holes in each light, one on the side and one going upwards. The spring is to help stabilize the light.

Sorry that I don't have any pictures. Easiest way to access the area would be to turn on headlights pull off battery cable and remove black bezel around light (3 screws).

Hope this helps.

Thank you - my BIG question now is: One end of the spring attaches to the light - where does the OTHER end of the spring attach to?

I just installed clear corners as well.

If you look straight up in the cavity where your light was you will see an attatchment point for the other end of the spring right above where the light sits..

I installed mine from the bottom of the car through the removable (5 or 6 10 mm bolts)close out panel
