Default GM Service Manuals

Do the GM Service Manuals (the 3-volume $150 versions) have labor times included? If so do they break it down by warranty versus customer pay time or do they not list labor times at all?

If the service manual doesn't have the GM labor times is there a web based resource that does have them other than All Data? Any help would be appreciated...

I have not noticed any service times in my 3 part manuals... but I have not specifically looked...

BTW - If you order your manuals from Fred Beans or Ken Fichtner (both forum vendors,) they are considerably cheaper. Fichtner has them for $114.95 + shipping. I got mine when they had a $99 sale.

when using the MANUALS I WAS TROUBLESHOOTING A HEADLIGHT PROBLEM. IT REFERED TO THE HEADLIGHT CONTROL MODUAL BUT DOES NOT TELL YA WHERE TO FIND IT. WHERE IN THE MANUAL DO THE TELL YOU WHERE TO FIND THE INDIVIDUAL ECM'S?

In the index under Headlamps is Control Module Replacement…8-178.

In the procedure beginning on 8-178 is step 8: Remove the front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to Close Out Panel – Front Bumper Fascia Lower in Bumpers.

Since step 9 refers to moving the front brake duct inside the fascia out of the way and step 10 refers to disconnecting the electrical connectors from the headlamp control module, then together with the illustrations, I would assume that the module is located behind the close out panel of the left front wheel well and inside the front bumper fascia
