Default Broken Lock

Serveral weeks ago someone tried to break into my car and broke the door lock while parked at a Home Depot with security and all. They made a small hole the size of an ice pick under the lock to pop the lock. The drivers door lock either fell into the door panel or was stolen (not found time to remove panel yet). Does anyone knows if a key can be made from a stolen lock? can that be done on a vet? I'm parinoid that some jerk is waiting to finish off the job. Car is now just for crusing.

Thanks

Yep, and it is not too hard to do if you have ever worked with locks. Although, I'm pretty sure there are more tumblers in the ignition lock than the door lock so I don't think they can make an exact ignition key but they would be close and could start guessing of the extra tumblers. But they won't know the VATS code on your ignition key but that is only a 1 in 15 chance of guessing that too.
