I doubt that it would be economically feasible. The paddle shifter is designed for the 6 speed auto and integrated with the C6 computor. There are people working on an install of the 6 speed into the C5. I would guess that this is going to be pricey also.

The A6 (6L80E) in the new C6 Corvettes have been retrofilled into the C5. It consists of a new A6 transmission, stall converter, torque tube and driveshaft. Yank sells them for ~$10,000 uninstalled. Add installation and tuning to that cost.
The paddles are a whole other ballgame. If you get this to work in a C5, please post LOTS of pics and a good write up.
Is it true that "Paddle Shifters" can be installed on an '02 with automatic trans.? Any reason not to? Approximate cost? Thanks.
I've seen some A4 "paddle" conversion in C5's here in SoCal at a couple of car shows.....but don't know where they got them. I think I also saw one in a car in one of my vette magazines last year. They are out there for the A4. Google search?
A company called Twist machines make paddle shifters for computer controlled transmissions. You have to purchase some other computer modules and controllers from TCI or Powertrain Controller Solutions. The only issue is the steering wheel/airbag for a modern vette. But, I am sure it can be done $$$$
I've been waiting for the 6L80e or 6l80 or 6l90 or 6l90e conversion on a C5. Has anyone actually done it or seen it, or is just rumors? Because, I am intrigued by it. I didn't think the cost would be that prohibitive. $10,000 seems like a lot. Is there any links to what you are referring to?
Appreciate it,
Steven
One because C6's are still a lot more expensive than C5's, and two, because I don't actually like the C6 body style as well. The C5 is so much meaner looking, the C6 is a little more toned down IMHO.

I agree ...... the ONLY thing that C6 has that I wish I could have is the A6.......but you can't have everything. $10K is rediculous
