flowmaster exhaust woes... ugh!

flowmaster exhaust woes... ugh!
The right muffler on my c5 coupe a4 is rattling. How do I tell what series muffler it is? I'm considering replacing it, which isnt too expensive. I also dont like the flowmaster tips, and would want to replace them also (4 larger and round tips). Is it difficult to switch out the flowmaster tips? Which ones do you reccomend to get and where?
Also I was wondering which X-pipes will work with the flowmaster muffler system. Will the Borla one work?
