Routine Maintenance for Technically Challenged
Planned on doing some routine maintenance this AM. I have a 2000 MN6 with about 75K on it. I intended on doing the decarbonization procedure on it. Beforehand, I ran BG44K through the fuel system, purchased everything that I needed, did some extensive reading/research on the procedure and got up early, ready to go.
Then Murphy the Non-Mechanic kicked in. After getting everything setup, I wasn't ABSOLUTELY certain where to very slowly pour in the cleaner. Boy do I feel like an AZZ at this point
So I decided to err on caution's side and get some help from you guys.I disconnected the hoses at the PCM valve. One end of the hose runs along the fuel rail and the other end has what I think is PCM valve that just slides out of the hose.
Obviously embarrassd to ask but which end does the cleaner go in? Okay you guys can stop laughing now

use a small funnel
last inch or so of fluid dump it fast to stall engine
if engine is picking up rpm as you pour the first part it is running on it pour it faster
HAVE SOMEONE IN THE CAR TO KEEP IT RUNNING
Engine should be stumbling as you pour at the end dump the last in. or so to stall engine
I let it sit over night
I used sea foam from NAPA
