battery cable question
how hard is it to change the battery cables on an 02 c5? i want to put 04 top post cables in place of the side post.

I stripped the bolt on my 2004 positive cable and am replacing it (the entire cable!) next weekend so I can let you know then. GM decided to use a "fancy" one-of-a-kind tapered nut to tighten the camlock on the battery cable which I could not find a replacement anywhere so there you go! According to the manual, it does not look very difficult. It appears that you have to access the end going to the starter from underneath the car which is probably the toughest part. The negative cable appears to be much simpler. Good luck with your swap
