Default GM BRA HELP - I NEED IT INSTALLED TODAY!!

I am getting ready to leave on a long trip, so from reading other posts I decided to get a GM Bra. I also have read some of your installation posts, as well as the tech tips section. I emailed Terry Corp this morning for help, but in the meantime, I wanted to look for someone who may have a tip. Everything was easy, except for the top rubber gromet on each side of the wheel well, actually the middle snap of the three. I have taken out the screws and pryed the original clips off (which is another issue since the clips slide down in behind the wheel well wall so I can't reach them without taking off the underside of the plastic housing), but even when gently prying the black plastic away from the body to insert the rubber gromet, I barely had enough room to install the bottom gromet, and no room to install the top gromet. Does anyone have a tip on how to install the top rubber gromet, after that it is a snap?

Thanks for your help.

I used the stock hardware and just lined up the pieces, inserted the snap/screw and tightened her up. It is a little tight, but worked for me. Good luck! I know you will like the GM bra. We have used ours on several long trips and have had NO trouble with it. :D

Was I supposed to pry up the black plastic and put the rubber grommet thingie underneath and then screw the snap in over the plastic? I didn't do that. I just lined everything up (using the drilled holes on the black plastic and the fender) and put the grommet in the hole with the screw (snap) already started into the grommet. Then I tightened it. Mine works great.
