Default T-Rex cam

Anyone runnin this cam. I think I am goin to switch cams and go bigger. I wanna know how drivability is on this cam. The car is not a daily driver, it is a weekend warrior. My pistons are fly cutted. They are -2cc on the top.

Was thinking about this cam for my Z but think it may be too big. I want big power and a nasty idle but still want to be able cruise around. I guess its a trade off.

You buddy needs a good tuner.

My current "big" cam drives like stock - my new T-Rex clone will be the same.

was thinking about this cam for a forged 347... but have changed my mind.

ive read that with the 402.... the T-rex isnt as big as you think it would be. over on ls1tech the guys are running even bigger!

ill be ordering the 402 this week, and also need to decide what cam. was looking into the TexasGiant probably going to call around and see what i can come up with. want well over 500rwhp N/A if i can get there.

I have been running the TREX cam for about a year now and i wouldnt trade it for anything. as long as you get it tuned right driveability is good. i have some surges but its a combo of the convertor and the cam. TH400 with a 3800 TCI vertor..... you might have some starting issues from time to time but timing and throttle adjustments are needed for that
