Default Best Shocks to get?

My car is a 98 and it is slammed: lowered on longer bolts in the rear and the front bushing completely removed. I have 19" wheels with 255 35 and 295 35 tires on X10 and X 11 wheels if that matters.

It is currently a very bouncy ride I was wondering what you guys would suggest?

I've heard of Bilstein and QA1 shocks for the corvette.

Which should I go with as I want to get them asap to install

Thanks as always

Bilstein sports are the best way to go, especially since you have lowered the car as much as you have. Go with the Bilstein sports and enjoy them.

Sounds like you are on the bump stops, most likely at the back end of the car for sure, and maybe at the front too.

At the very least you need to make sure that whatever you buy is shorter or they will be worthless.... Right now you don't have any shocks, just the rubber jounce bumpers, since that is what the car is riding on now...

Just get the Bilstein sports, bolt them on and go! Nothing else needed. If you need additional hardware after the Bilstein sports, you can opt to go with the Bump Steer kit, but you should be ok with the Bilsteins only.

I will be in the same boat soon. Are there more than one P/N (longer/shorter) for the bilstein sports or just one size?

LETHL_Z06,

There is only one version of the Bilstein sports. Order them, install them and drive!

Bilstein Sport Part Numbers:

Front: BE5-2977
Rear: BE5-2978

Hope this helps!
