One of my headlights blew the other day and took the fuse with it. When I replaced the fuse, the headlight worked fine but they stayed in the up position. I lowered them manually, then hit the switch and they popped up, but don't go back down. Now when I remove the key I hear a chime like I left the lights on, even if they're off. Any suggestions? Headlight module maybe? TIA!!!!!!

Fuses for the headlights - do both headlights come on? If not, maybe a fuse is shot.
Are both on? May be the turn signal lever. It has a very complex set of micro switches and stuff in it. The Parts Lady down in FL sells this thing for about $120 delivered. The installation is about an 8 hour job and involves starting with removing the console to get to the fasteners holding the other parts of the dash cover in place. You'll need a special steering wheel puller and probably ought to get two sets of the pulling hooks since they can break if the steering wheel is really tight (don't ask). Handle the air bag carefully. The actual lever replacement takes all of 15 minutes at the most.

I'm pretty sure it's not the lever, both headlights do come on and all of the fuses for both the lights and the motors are okay, it's either gotta be the switch or the control module. I'm thinking its not the switch because when I lower the headlights manually, they stay down despite the chime that sounds like the lights are on, and they don't pop back up until I hit the switch. We'll see I guess, I'm gonna try to find a used headlight module and see what happens......
