Optima Red Top @ PEP Boys
I thought everyone would like to know that Pep Boys carries the Optima Red Top Battery for $109.95 in the Houston, TX area. I had to jump my C5 last night and went down to see what was available. When I saw the price, I went ahead and had one installed.

No, I was leaving for Bowling Green today and it seemed about right. I'd seen a earlier post about Costco having them at $130.00 and I thought this sounded pretty good.

i recieved my red top this week from lapd for $129.00 + $15.00 shipping.this was the best price i could find. from reading other post looks like i got ripped off. anyway the delco that came with my vette died the 2nd week after i drove it off the showroom floor and again last week.this mexican built c5 delco is pure crap and should not be installed in a 50,000 automobile.the electrical enginner that designed the battery,alternator etc... should get his early retirement with out pay or benefits.maybe then he would understand walking in an unfamilar place in the dark with your wife scared to death is not a good situation.i recommend that everone with a 01 with this battery get rid of it now. :smash: :mad :U :boxing :cry :( :bs :reddevil :cuss
