Default Dropping my C5 2' inches!

I won this auction on eBay as you can see. Does anyone have any comments on these lowering bolts? I was hesitant to purcahse these until I read the eBay feedback for the seller. Most guys that bought these posted feedback saying they love them and the install was a snap. But has anyone on this forum tried these or know someone that has? I expect to have them installed this weekend so I will get some before/after pictures uploaded ASAP for you all. These are much cheaper than new springs.

he doesn't say what he's actually selling.

it could just be a piece of paper telling you how to adjust your factory bolts.

it could also be a set of longer bolts for the rear.

there's nothing he can sell you to lower the front more than what you have now because you can only accomplish that by cutting the stock bushing or leaving the bolt out entirely.

Probably the same thing A&A is selling....

https://www.aandacorvette.com/cart/s...sp?MainCatID=5 (about 1/2 way down the page)

Except from A&A you know what you're getting and it's from a reputable Corvette Forum vendor.

I agree, stick with a reputable company. He's more than likely selling you 2 - 2" longer bolts for the rear and there is nothing he can sell you for the front I lowered my car 2" all the way around and love it

What a rip off!

I just went and bought 2 grade 8 - 6 1/2" x 1/2 bolts with lock nuts for $6 at the local hardware store.

that's all it is, most of the time cut bushings with the stock bolts will get the desired result

two bolts are about 12 bucks tops and that is what you get. Lower it to much and the shocks will bottom out and break the rubber bushings on top. It will handle like crap also.
