Recently purchased 03 convretible with 6,500 miles. Our dealership is confounded by a rear break squeak at low speeds. They have replaced pads and there is no visible rotor problems.
Do the pads have a thin pad cover on the outside of the pad? I had a squeal on a front pad that was just one end of the thin pad cover slightly touching the rotor. I discovered it after just sitting on a stool by the car and slowly turning the rotor and looking and watching for anything unusual. I finally saw the problem when looking straight down into the area with a flashlight where the pads and calipers engage the rotor. I took the pad cover off and no more noise. The pad is cosmetic.

Good luck!

How is the Parking brake system. Just a wag, could it be comming from the drum brakes which is part of the parking brake system?
take her for a drive, and from a moderate speed, bring her to a quick stop. Do this a couple of times to put some real heat into the brakes and then see if they squeek.
