The Tire Pressure Sensors will NOT work with all tires. If the tire has heavy steel belts, they may not work. There is a Technical Bulletin on this.

BF Goodrich KDW2's are excellent wet and dry. Ive had them on the back for almost two years and just ordered a set for the front.

I'm with Billdog, the Avon tires (assuming you can get past the "wife get those for ya" comments) have been fantastic on my dd. Short of heavy snow, I had more confidence with the Avons on my 6-spd '01 Coupe (couldn't wait to get rid of the GY EMT's) than I did with my 5-spd Accord EX coupe...and that was a front wheeler with Michelins. And you certainly can't beat a full set, front and rear, for sub $600!

I replaced the GY runflats with Kuhmo ASX non runflats from Discount. All 4 tires in stock sizes for $512.00 to my door. The reason I selected these is obvious.
Now, after 2000 miles, I have found them to be quiet with plenty of grip on dry pavement. Don't drive this car in the rain, so I can't comment on that issue. Don't know about wear either. But I spoke with the engineer that designed these tires, and he thinks that about 30,000 miles should be average.
Good luck.

Too many people get caught up in the name. I looked at the reviews, looked at the tread pattern and made my decision. I feel that at least 50% of the "name brand" high performance tires are junk and triple overpriced for what they are anyway (read Runcraps).....when Kumho's first came out, they were even cheaper than they are now and matched or beat many name brand tires....I think they've gone downhill a little but they're still better than Toyo's!
