Convertible Top Change
My top has developed some staining that can not be removed. (1999 C-5)
Therefore, I have aqquired a new convertible top and need to find either a set of instructions and or a detail schematic to install the new one. Can someone either point me in the corrrect direction or email me the proper instructions/drawings?

You may want to try calling Mid-America. They are a vendor on this site. They sell replacement tops for the C5 verts and may be able to email you or send you some instructions.
From what I understand, this is kind of an involved project.
I've been thinking of changing the top on my '99 vert from tan to black and am taking it to my local car upholstery shop for them to do when I decide. They want $250 to do the top and headliner.

My buddy and I did this on one and it was the biggest pain in the butt I ever did. I replaced mine after that and took it to car upholstery shop that the dealers used. I cut out the middle man and he charged $250 to do the job. It still took two of them all morning and he has done quite a few. He did a great job. Unless you are really strapped for the cash this is one job I wouldn't do.
