Meaning of error codes(fast reply please)

Meaning of error codes(fast reply please)
Does anyone know the interpation of the following codes on my DIC(after running diagnostics)
1) B2252-H key cylinder switch fault
2) U1064-H Loss of com with DCM
Car seems to run fine, but gave me a "charge system fault" message on the DIC and voltage is running a little lower than usual(12.9 to 13.2) as opposed to the usual 13.8 or so. Do I need to take the car right to the dealer ASAP, or can it wait till Tuesday? (Monday is a holiday) I don't want to be without the car over this holiday weekend, but I don't want to get stuck in the middle of Bumf-ck Egypt either! Any input would be greatly appreciated! :confused: :eek:

Hi there,
The 2252 is simply telling you that your drivers side key switch is not giving the correct signal to the DCM.
It is not going to give you a drivability problem, just a BCM code, and it will ahve to be diagnosed by your technician.
Nothing major here, the other code, could be considered normal.

Sorry, mistake there, as the other code is telling you that something is wrong with the DCM. So my guess is that the DCM is dropping out, causing the 2252 code.
Your tech can confirm this with a Tech2, sorry about the mistake, c4c5
