Is there a light bulb for the C5’s back up lights that give better light or wattage? I’m just having a little trouble seeing behind me at night. It sucks to get older.
Yes there is a 50 watt Halogen back-up light set from Mid America. I have them but have yet to install. With dark tint on my rear window I need all the help I can get to see behind me.
You cannot tell in the pics, but the 20 individual LEDs can be seen on the bulbs and look really sharp when lit up.
If you kept your original backup housing and didn't use the diamond cut one like I have shown, you will not be able to see the LED bulbs as the stock housing is opaque while this one is clear.
This is a pic of the bulbs I used, however please note that this bulb is NOT the correct one for our application. These are an "1156" and have a single contact point at the base. I had to send these back and exchange them for an "1157", which has dual contact points.
I can't find the bulb, just the diamond shaped lens. Do you have a link?

I just learned I made a mistake. The bulbs I purchased have the wrong base. The previous thread states that a C5 needs the 1157 base & the ones I purchased have the 1156 base. Sorry for the mistake.
