Coolant Problem!?
Been smelling antifreeze for a while and cant find the leak. Well me and another forum member (raded-ape) was looking and I notice the reservoir was boiling and leaking out the side (where the black is connected to the clear) and on to the gargage floor. Im going to replace this but my concern is why is it boiling? Its been pretty hot here (95-100 degrees) but my temp has never gone over 230-240 dgrees, plus I have a brand new stock thermostat. Any ideas? Thanks

If the reservoir is leaking fluid it will not hold pressure; therefore the coolant will boil at a much lower temp than in a pressurized system. Probably in the 220-225 range, but that is just a guess from memory.
