Sorry, my bad.. I meant Drag Racing... and I even pointed out that that is ONLY till you run out of Gear in 4th..
Believe me I loved my 4.10s for around town and for the here and there trip to the drag. As soon as I got into road racing (I guess I needed more than 11 seconds of fun) I quickly found out the 4.10s were way too much gear.
Shifting was a big issue. This week I went to Limerock and was very happy only needing to use 3rd and 4th gears when in the past I used 3rd - 5th.
For those with a Z06 otherwise have installed an MN12, it is my understanding and experience that the rpm's in the MN12 are the same as have a 3.90 rearend. RPM installed an MN12 in my A4 and this is the case in mine.

Just had 4.10 put in last Friday in my 99 FRC 333hp 336torque rw stock
A must do for anyone that just drives their car around the streets comes realy close to matching the Z06 gearing. Get a good 4 wheel alienment though and have it drag racing aliened so you get some traction at the rear or you will slide all over the road. My friend with a SC Viper GTS 565hp rw said if he wouldn't have done the SC he would have done the gears after driving my car.
