Installed a Spec 3+ about a month ago, after wearing out my Spec 3 within 3000kms with a dozen runs at the track.
Clutch feel reminds me of my stock Z06 clutch, very light.
Also very easy to modulate, and gives you very good play, much better than the Spec 3.
Just did over 10 1/4 mile runs, 9 of them trapping over 130mph at the track, and happy to report it took everything I gave, and after a week on the street, still feels the same as before the track time. I could feel my older Spec 3 didn't feel right after the track day.
All and all, very happy with it, it's rated at over 800lbs of torque, and almost feels like a stock clutch.
I just had a Spec 3+ installed last week with a new steel flywheel. Wore out my Exedy Dual, and really hated the on/off feel of the clutch.
Damn Excedy clutch feels like my old stock clutch! None of the on/off feel of the Excedy, light clutch pedal, and boy it's nice to finally be able to slip the clutch again! And all for the price of less than half the cost of the Excedy. Ironic thing is, now that I've exprienced both, I'd pay more for the Spec! Mechanic that did the install mentioned that in his professional opinion, the Spec is built better.
The SPEC 3+ seems like it is doing well. Much better than all the stories of teeth cracking chatter on the SPEC 3 non +. Must be the full face disk. And it's rated at 850 foot pounds. $600 isn't bad. The 3+ is quickly gaining in popularity.
