about how much hp?
i have 01 c5 coupe,1030 TB,Borla ZR-1 catback,
Vortech Ram air,K&N filter...any estimates at what kinda HP im lookin at?
i also am looking into installing a set of kooks,and possibly a mild street cam,any estimates of hp gain from headers+cam?

Bolt ons like these dont add up the way people think. Each of these items is supposed to add 10-15 HP. Please dont believe that a 350 HP engine is making 425 from some airflow tweaks. A honest estimate is that youve added 10-20 total. (ram air will add an honest 20 HP, though)
Example-I used to drive a 2000 Camaro SS. It ran a 13.37 1/4mile .This car had every airflow bolt on available. (no headers) Air filter, airbox lid, bellows, throttle body, Maf, cat-back, low-temp thermo, underdrive pulley, a few of my own airflow mods, and some ecm mods. After all of this was added, guess what it ran. 13.37!
Headers are the ticket with these cars. Headers will give you a real 40 HP gain. Combined with a cam? Depends on the cam, but the 2 will work beautifully together.
I would suggest a Z06 intake manifold-nice torque gain, especially with the bigger cam.

On my 2002, 6 speed manual, I have added a BBK 80 mm TB, Vararam intake, Corsa exhaust, smooth intake connector, Granatelli MAF, larger air bridge and no other mods and run mid twelves before the new TB and it made a huge difference. I should be running even lower ETs. The sum of these mods made a very noticeable difference in seat of the pants feel in performance.
I won top eliminator in a Corvette only 1/8th mile drag meet last year (I have videos to prove it) and everyone wanted to know what mods I had done to the car. I beat every C5 there by at least 2 car lengths. I wish I had done a dyno run or two before, but, if the ETs are an indicator, those times are about what a good new 400 HP C6 runs. I suspect I must be making at least that much HP? What do you think?
